INTERVENTION
- 36 Women clubs has been established, involving 365 women. One of the major topics covered at the group meetings is the equal roles between men and women in the family and society, equal sharing of workload and issues around domestic violence
- 253 communication events on Domestic Violence conducted with attendance of 5885 people. Women and men understand that violating women is illegal and that women are protected by law.
- 208 men and women are trained on Vietnamese law protecting women and understand the importance of treating women fairly
- 78 Community Groups has been formed, benefitting 2272 farmers. They are trained on farming skills and assessed on low interest loan to set up livelihood model.
- 143 farmers are trained veterinary medicine in which 63 are women. This training provided knowledge on livestock disease prevention and treatment and help reduce the risk of disease infection in livestock raising.
- 1300 households increased their income thanks to support from ActionAid on mushroom growing model; hybrid-rice planting model and Biogas model.
